I don’t think we realize just how much our words can (and do) impact others. Comments like, “I like what you’ve done with your hair” or “Good job on that assignment” can boost someone’s self-confidence and make them feel appreciated. But negative comments obviously tear people down.
From now on, think about how you can use your words to speak life into darkness, regret, despair, heart-ache, etc. It’s such a privilege to wake up every day with the potential to use our words to make someone’s day brighter, to show Jesus, to share Jesus, and to further God’s kingdom!
